Location

This photo was taken in the middle of nowhere Texas.

Time

This was about 2 am.

Lighting

The only lighting came from street lamps and road flares.

Equipment

Sony a7rii and a 70-200mm f 2.8

Inspiration

The whole premise of staring into the void reminded me of staring in to a bright light and so I decided to try to emulate that by burning prop money with a flare.

Editing

The only post-processing was to bring back the shadows.

In my camera bag

A single tripod and a handful of lenses that are my go to, typically nothing too heavy.
