The grandiose Neo-Renaissance palace that houses the Museum of Ethnography was built between 1893 and 1896 for the Supreme Court. It is located on Kossuth squire, opposite the Parliament Building.
The museum's permanent exhibition, "The Traditional Culture of the Hungarian People", features about 3,000 items.
