This is the first image of a mini black and white series about the auditorium in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
I found the striking architecture of this building - which was officially opened in 2003 - to be quite inspiring.
In this first image of the series I wanted to highlight the various basic shapes (rectangle, triangle, ellipsis) at the entrance stairway.
Originally I was going for the classic black and white architecture look with an almost black sky, but in the process of editing the photos I came up with this brighter, less contrasty look.
