ABSTRACT

Chhat puja is a ritual in India. It happens in dusk & on the shore of a river.
This was happened in Bolpur on the bank of KOPAI river.

Prayers shot at dawn on river bed.

When I was on tour at Shankarpur, i took the shot as i liked it. It was a part of the fencing to protect the land from erosion.

An experiment of startrail at Bolpur.

Star trail over the Himalaya, Kanchenjunga in the evening.

THE SHOT HAS TAKEN AT KUMARTULI IN KOLKATA. THE ARTIST IS BUSY PREPARING THIS MINI IDOL BEFORE THE FESTIVE SEASON.

Simple earthenware pots with little grasses & a conch shell. The shit was taken in one of my room with LED lamps,
