I took this capture in Christchurch, New Zealand on Anzac Day last year. I feel it fitting as the 25th approaches to remember and reflect upon the bravery of all soldiers who gave their lives to give us the freedom we have today. ANZAC is the acronym formed from the initial letters of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps.
'They shall not grow old, as we that are left grown old. Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning. We will remember them.' (4th stanza from Laurence Binyon's Poem for the Fallen)

Anzac Day is a vital part of our culture and on this day we pay homage. There will be no ANZAC day this year, no parades, no dawn services due to COVID-19.However, they will be in our hearts and minds as will every fallen soldier from any war. Take care and thank you Marc for your appreciation of this photo :)
