Meet Loong, Imperial Dragon 1892. He usually resides in the Golden Dragon Museum in Bendigo, Victoria. He retired in 1970 and was approved for one final (slow as he's fragile) appearance in the Easter Parade. Loong, Yar Loong 1930, Sun Loong 1970 (now retired) greeted new boy Dai Gum Loong. Never before and nor again will there be four Imperial Dragons in the one parade. I witnessed history and experienced a feast for the senses...colour, sound, total excitement and a feeling of being so privileged to witness and be part of this magical day!
