It works OK! It's my experience though that you should resize the images prior to uploading these here, so as to avoid automatic resizing by the site routine.
Ideas about the optimal pre-sizing vary, but I upload my photos sized 1600 longer side, and it works for me, since I think it conveys sufficient resolution for the most common monitors...

I did not even consider that, I'll keep that in mind!
