It was cold overnight, but I feel my trip out was worth it!
I ventured out to St Catherine's Lighthouse, at the Southern tip of the Island, as clear skies were forecast and I knew the milky way was coming up, and Jupiter (the brightest one in the pic) would be pretty central. This was my first milky way trip this year, and while I was expecting to see the stars, a bonus in the form of meteors turned up in one of my shots. They may be just rogue random bits of dust, or they could be an early onset of Lyrids, which normally start around 16th April. Whichever the case, I'm always delighted to catch these little flashes of light in a photo. :-)
