Took this one during one of the nights by Eiffel tower which was shining in all its glory. This man-made marvel is such a treat for photographers as with every different view of it changes the perspective and gives you a different image. This is one of the other 300+ images I shot that day much in awe of this masterpiece.Time
This is like the rituals to go all the way to Trocadero and watch the Tower from the high rise platform, the best time is to go somewhere near the sunset so that you get to see the best of both worlds. There is no building taller than Eiffel tower so we see the Parisian sky and the drama of sunset colors. As soon as the darkness approaches the lights to come up and then it's a different show. From a distance, it looks like an artist has crafter diamonds on the structure and they all are shining at will boasting of the greatness of this amazing structure. I was walking towards the tower and with every 10 steps, there is a different perspective to shoot it. I took more than 300 images for it and then this one struck my mind.Lighting
The shimmering lights on the frame put on a show in the darkness of the night. Eiffel tower is no less than a piece of Crown Jewel in the heart of the city so I had to look for something of a value add. I shot this one by the side of a streetlamp to see this one coming out as a unique shot. More info in the post-processing.Equipment
There are certain times when you wonder how amazing Mobile cameras can be. This was being taken by my Oneplus 6 in Manual Mode. I had better control over the camera settings and I clicked it.Inspiration
There are millions of pictures of Eiffel tower. I come from India, From the days of my general knowledge book in school where I have the first memory of Eiffel Tower being the tallest tower-like structure. The animated Pic of Eiffel tower fascinated me and I never thought I would see it in real life. Now with almost 10 visits, I am in awe of it. It looks different at every different time of the day and in different seasons. I have been here in different seasons and whenever I go to Paris, I have a special date with this man-made marvel. I am overwhelmed with the way this photo has been loved by the community and I am glad that this could bring some fresh perspective to the table.Editing
it does look like a Winter photo but it is not, especially not on a snowy day. It has always been my fantasy to visit it on one of those days. So while post-processing I added the snowfall effects to fulfill my imagination. It was something back of my head like a secret wish and while experimenting I randomly put the snowflakes, Voila I just felt in love. In a way, it looked like my imagination came out to my screen.In my camera bag
I have a Canon 80D with 18-135mm, 50mm prime and 55-250mm canon lenses. Alongside Hova filters for slow shutter speeds. I have a GoPro for challenging situations like underwater or highspeed. Also, my Oneplus6 has opened doors to some nifty mobile camera photography too.Feedback
Keep on striving to find something different in the most usual situations, An artist's imagination knows no bounds. We need to push ourselves to come up with our creative best. I feel the satisfaction with all those 300+ sample shots I took with a new fresh perspective of the tower and this one is that ONE shot which stood out making up for the collective efforts beyond all of the shots. Also, keep an eye on adding the value to your shots how you can come up with your imagination and add that finishing touch to a regular shot. As I said, An artist's imagination knows no bounds.
