So yesterday half of Ireland, including me :), travelled to the North coast to watch best aurora dispaly ever.. :) What a disapointment....Some people, who knows what they talking about, warned that Aurora showing up, isn't a certain thing at all. Beacouse I am always listening to more experienced collegues, I didn't want to travel all the way from Dublin and come back with nothing.So I left few hours earlier and I travelled to Dunluce Castle for sunset. Regardless my bad experience with this place ( I was there before 10 times maybe and there was always something missing) I decided to try again. When arrived on site...ooopsss...new fence...and sign..do not trespass. Well I didn't want to be disrespectful, but I didn't drive all the way from Dublin, to be scared away by a fence and a sign. I jumped over the wall and walked to my usual place from which I failed to photograph all my previous visits. It was gray when I got there but I knew it should be clearer and no low clouds closer to the sunset. It was one of the best sunset I have ever seen. Light was perfect and incoming tide and high waves played the game for me.
Looks like Antrim Coast is spoiling me this year.
