Gran Canaria Mountains look spectacular but it's not easy to get a good weather and light here. I've been visiting this place four times within last 3 years, at different time of the year. I would advice you to go there during winter-spring months. It's colder in the mountains and its raining quite often so there is some vegetation and nice colours. In summer-autumn everything is burned to dust by the sun. I wish I could say I got what I wanted but can't . When I arrived place was fully overcast and when I saw it's starting clearing I was delighted but by the time sun set, sky was completely clear. I managed to take few shots before that with magnificent Roque Bentayga and also Roque Nublo sticking out from the cloud in the background. What a place.... Artenara, Gran Canaria, Spain
