Rome, Italy at night is absolutely amazing. The entire city has a completely different feel. Monuments and buildings are lit up, the streets and touristy areas become empty, and for a few moments, you can find yourself alone in one of the most historic and major cities in the world. On this night, I had the Pantheon all to myself for nearly an hour. Only a police car drove by every now and then as he made rounds.
