A storm passed over Southern Maryland in May of 2015. While attempting to capture photos of the clouds, I was lucky enough to capture this extremely close lightning strike, however it did knock my focus off a little bit. I still think it is a pretty awesome capture, and it has also sparked my interest in capturing lightning photography.
