It was taken in my kitchen on a lovely old oak tableTime
As it was indoors, it didn’t matter what the time was. I used artificial lightLighting
I always keep lighting as simple as I can. One large soft box and a reflector was all I used for thisEquipment
I used a Nikon D700 for this shot and a medium telephoto lensInspiration
It was for a company who make lots of different cheeses. This was an applewood smoked cheese hence the wooden apple and the smokeEditing
I kept it simple. I process using Capture One Pro. I made sure I had detail in the shadows and highlights, balanced the colour and that was thatIn my camera bag
It really depends what I need to shoot. I try not to carry too much when I shoot. At most it will be a tripod, two bodies and lenses from ultra wide to medium telephoto.Feedback
Just keep it simple and don’t include anything in the shot that doesn’t add anything positive to your image story
