Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at a beach in the Netherlands, Petten

Time

This was taken in the evening, sunset as you can see. The light was very beautiful and the beach was crowded by other photographers at that time. Was happy not to had to remove people later1

Lighting

The light was so beautiful for a moment and I am happy with the outcome.

Equipment

I used my Nikon D7500 for the first time there, with a 18-105 mm lens and a tripod because the shutterspeed was longer

Inspiration

These poles are a reminder of a flood which swiped away a whole village. It's a monument.

Editing

I did a bit of post-processing, bit contrast and saturated the colors a bit.

In my camera bag

In my camerabag I have my Nikon D7500, Sigma 105 macro, Nikkor 18-105 mm, tamrom 70-300 mm and since a few months a Nikkor 10-20. My tripod and filters. And of course memory cards and a spare battery.

Feedback

Wait for the light! Take shots from different angles.
