This photo was taken in my garden on a cloudy mornning while the sun tried her best to come from behind the clouds.Time
I was walking in my garden around half past ten with my camera as i do every morning and saw the poppy in bloom. I took a couple of pictures, but this one was my favourite.Lighting
I used only natural light. It was a bit cloudy, but with the sun behind the clouds it gave a beautiful light.Equipment
The photo was taken with my former Nikon D5500 and a Sigma 105 macro lens. I didn't use a tripod or monopod. No flash either.Inspiration
I love walking through my garden and taking photos. I liked this scene because of the red and green combination and the poppy in bloom and the bud next to it.Editing
The picture didn't need much of post-processing. Only from RAW to JPEGIn my camera bag
Currently I have a Nikon D7500 in my bag. A Sigma 105 macro lens, Nikor 18-105 and a Tamrom 70-300. A set of extending tubes and a Macro flash complete my equipment at the momentFeedback
To shoot something similar.. well, if you see flowerbuds and flowers, visit them regulary. I walk through my garden several times a day under divers circumstances. You always see something different. Don't shoot in bright sunlight!
