I took this photograph in a snow covered chalet in the French AlpsTime
Late afternoon after a day's skiingLighting
I took advantage of the ambient lighting, but I stooped the aperture down to prevent blown out and over exposed areas of the imageEquipment
Canon DSLR and short zoomInspiration
I wanted to capture the ambiance of the room more of a record for myself than anythingEditing
I just did a bit of cropping and sharpeningIn my camera bag
I was on holiday and flew with a budget airline so weight was a major issue. I only took a camera body and a short zoom lens with an extra battery.Feedback
This image just goes to show that goos images appear from out of the blue. If you haven;'t got a camera with you....you can't capture the image.
