This Photo was shot in Halifax West Yorkshire .U.K. I have spent quite a lot of time photographing Halifax a Northern Wool Town In West Yorkshire. U.K. These old snickets and pathways were the routes that the Mill girls would take to get to work in the now Empty Woollen Mills.Time
I think that the time of day would be around Early afternoon..Lighting
It was a Sunny Day in early Spring. . With the Sun not directly overhead.Equipment
My Digital Camera at that time would have been the Olympus E500.. Hand held. no tripod. With the 24mm x 70mm lens.Inspiration
As I have said. I frequently visit Halifax to record the old Now empty Mills .And surrounding areas. I think that they lend themselves to Nice Blacks and White Photographs.Editing
I do some post processing to my Photos. but this particular shot has not been adjusted, apart from. Changing to Back and white also possibly a little sharpening. In Photoshop.In my camera bag

If you cannot get a decent shot on First time Locating a suitable Photograph . Don't be frightened of returning at a different time of the Month/ Year, and keep repeating that until you are satisfied. with your efforts . As I have said I have visited Halifax numerous times over the years. to capture these historical record shots.
