Very interesting perspective, I like the pattern the wide angle lens distortion provided compositionally.

Congratulations on your honorable mention in the drone art contest, it's well deserved! I sent you a private message also. Take care!

Location
This photo was taken in central Taiwan at a now flooded forest valley after a massive earthquake in 1999 ripped open the ground there.Time
This photo was taken in late afternoon as the sun was in position to cast shadows on the water.Lighting
I really wanted to emphasize the shadows in this picture. I remember looking out at the water and watching as the shadows grew and visualizing what it would look like from above.Equipment
This image was taken with a Dji magic pro. No filters or other equipment were used.Inspiration
This photo is a special one for me because it is one of the first photos I visualized before hand and then went out and made the photo happen. It came out exactly how I hoped.Editing
In processing I added back the colors to the raw image, increased the contrast slightly, boosted the sharpness a bit, and added a bit of vibrance to make the water pop more. Lastly I added a vignette to draw the eyes to the center. In my camera bag
Normally I have a Sony A7ii with 24-105 lens, my mavic pro, and a tripod. Most of my pictures are taken while hiking in the mountains so that's about all can carry.Feedback
My advice would be to try to visualize how an image will look from all angles and in different light. Then go out and bring your visions to life.
