Location
We were on an Oceana mid-sized ship transiting between Australia and Tasmania and the Pacific was anything but calm. This shot was taken out of our cabin window. We were on the fourth deck so the bow wave was quite dramatic.Time

Lots of great light out on the oceanEquipment
Sony A7R3 with its 41 MPixel sensor. Used the Sony GM 24-70 GM lens at 40 mm with f4 at 1/1000 second to freeze motion and minimize dirt and reflection on the window glass.Inspiration
I always love detail that shows contrasts and angles.Editing
I used Lightroom to enhance colors and definition. In my camera bag
My go to lens is the Sony 100-400 GM, often with Sony's 1.4X teleconverter mounted. I love shooting long-range detailed shots of animals, plants, people, and sometimes macro style photos. I do carry a full set of Sony lenses along on my trips.Feedback
watch for unusual contrasts across the view frame.
