Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was take at our home in North Carolina after a late winter shower. Flowers and animals are my favorite subjects and living on a golf course there is no shortage of either.

Time

Not sure what time I took the photo. I just remember running out between showers to catch a few shots.

Lighting

Love shooting in daylight.

Equipment

I used my Nikon D3400 that I had received for Christmas.

Inspiration

We had an abundance of flowers that year and after such a nice gentle shower, I knew there would be some great opportunities for some great shots.

Editing

Did not alter the photo in any way.

In my camera bag

In addition to my Nikon, I also have on hand a Canon Sure Shot and of course, my smart phone.

Feedback

I always make sure I have my bag nearby and a spare battery, just in case. Never know what is going to show up in my yard.
