Location
My parents moved to the Southwest back in the 80s from Massachusetts. Several years later they came to visit us after we had moved to N.C. and brought me this Cactus. At the time it was about 6” tall. Dad passed in 2003. Several years later, i had to make the tough decision of admitting Mom to a memory care facility. I had prayed for a sign that I had made the right decision in doing so. Two months later, on Fathers Day, the most beautiful bloom came out of my Cactus. That was my sign from Dad that everything was OK!! So, Every other year, for the past 10 years My Cactus has bloomed. One year, three buds appeared of which two bloomed. The plant is now over a foot tall and has three babies. Looking forward to many More years of blooms.Time
