The day before I took this image I had woken with my mind in a bad space. I felt down, I'm not going to say depressed, I had no motivation or enthusiasm. I felt lonely but wasn't alone. I felt trapped indoors, but wasn't. It was a beautifully sunny day with a clear blue sky and unseasonably warm for a winter's day. But it felt like I had storm clouds in my head.
As the morning drifted into the afternoon I pushed myself out of the front door to go to do some banking and the storm clouds gradually began to disappear.
The next morning the weather wasn't so good but my head was clear and bright and after completing my chores I set about trying to capture an image that had a sense of how I'd been the previous day.
This is that image, it is as close as I know how to express how I was feeling. Mental strife be it depression or just feeling sad, down, melancholic for no obvious reason is tough to cope with. It's even harder to understand why at one point in the day you change from being bright and happy to having storm clouds in your brain and the weight of the world on your shoulders without knowing why.
