I took this photo in my backyard testing my new sigma sp ii 70-200 2.8Time
It was late afternoon on a cloudy dayLighting
The photo came out different than expected when I looked upon the screen, but there was something odd with the lighting, something that reminds me of analog viewfinder pictures, I started to love the atmosphere it captured, it's like a dreamy in between to the next move, what is she thinking or where is she up to nextEquipment
I used a canon eos 600d with a sigma sp ii 70-200 2.8 telelens on 70 mm, this photo was taken out of hand with no further equipement or flashInspiration
Little girls can still get a little tired in the afternoon, their stare and mimics change to a more dreamier state of mind... I wanted to take this photo from her back and she just turned her head with that dreamy stare, as if she was knowing what to think or to do next... the lighting conditions gave the perfect atmosphere to that scene and I knew straight away it needed to become a black and white because that simply accentuates the whole concept in a better wayEditing
I used iPhoto to transfer it from color to black and white and a little exposure adjustment, but that's basically all, the result I wanted was mostly already thereIn my camera bag
Nowadays I upgraded from the canon eos 600d to the 5D mark III and I love the plastic fantastic Canon 50MM 1.8 as main lens because of my love for portraits ? I also carry a Tamron 90 mm 2.8 macrolens, which is awesome in colors and sharpness and of course the telelens mentioned above ( Sigma sp ii 70-200 2.8 ) and of course always an extra battery pack because you never know how much beauty the day will bringFeedback
