Icebergs, which break from Greenland's glaciers, float by along the coast of Newfoundland, Canada. The regular occurrence brings small gatherings of locals from nearby communities, who watch with interest, marveling at the variety of shapes and sizes. As visitors to the area, we were amazed at the sight, especially at the enormity and amounts of floating ice! Local residents told us that the breakaway icebergs are appearing earlier and earlier every year, noting that the phenomenon might be a result of climate change.
