Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in a little village nearby my works head office in Edinburgh

Time

On a lunchtime break

Lighting

It was a beautiful sunny day & I liked the shadows that fell in the water from the building.

Equipment

I use my iPhone as it was what I had available

Inspiration

I love architecture & this village is a really lovely place & this building particularly caught my eye. I love the colour of the brickwork

Editing

I added a filter to make it pop better I cannot recall which one exactly.

In my camera bag

I don’t always have my camera bag out with me so a lot of my shots are taken on my phone. In my bag I usually have my Nikon & plenty of memory cards (just in case)

Feedback

When something catches your eye grab whatever camera you have to hand and capture it! I work from visuals so whatever feels appealing & then I capture at least a few shots from a few angles so I can eyeball them for best options.
