These are the photos I took on my drive to Springbrook National Park, which contains one of the last remaining ancient Gondwanan rainforests. The moment I stepped into the rainforest, I was transported back in time. It was breathtaking. Somehow, I expected scenes reminiscent of "Jurassic Park". Such was the wilderness!

Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo, when I lived in Queensland, Australia in 2015. The location is Springbrook National Park.

Time

At about 10 am, I think.

Lighting

It was raining at this time of day, so I found the foggy conditions offered a nice diffused light.

Equipment

I used my retired Sony Alpha 200 camera, with a Croma tripod, and 300mm lens.

Inspiration

This location contains one of the last Gondwanan Rain-forests. The moment I stepped into the rain-forest, I was transported back in time. It was breathtaking. Somehow, I expected scenes reminiscent of "Jurassic Park". Such was the beauty.

Editing

None according to my memory.

In my camera bag

Now I have a Canon EOS 80 D camera, with a 60 mm Macro Lens, and an 18-135 mm Lens.

Feedback

Go out with no preconceived ideas, and see where it takes you. I was surprised that there was such a magical and wild location.
