Location

I took this photo in my guest room. I chose this room because of all the books, which played into my theme.

Time

I can’t remember, it was so long ago!

Lighting

The most interesting thing about the lighting in this is my lack of knowledge and skill. This photograph was done almost 7 years ago, before I had any training in lighting. I remember it being almost dark outside, and my trying to remedy this in photoshop.

Equipment

I used my Nikon d5200.

Inspiration

This photo was a part of a series I did for my AP photography class in high school. The theme was that adults are still children at heart, and experience emotions such as wonder, excitement, curiosity, and adventure. Each photo in the series portrayed a different emotion: this photo was adventure.

Editing

I did lots of post processing for this image. I put a lot of work into drawing the Harry Potter images which I scanned into photoshop and added into the photo.

In my camera bag

I always have my Nikon d5200, and external flash, and extra batteries!
