This image was taken in a clearing in the woods by my home. It's an artificial clearing since the trees were cut for the power lines to pass, so many herbs find it easy to grow..Time
It was at dawn. Luckily, in winter dawn arrives quite late (it must have been 'round 7 in the morning), so that I didn' t have to wake up too soon to be there at the right timeLighting
It's plain natural light. I love shooting both at dawn and at sunset as the light is pretty colored on its own.Equipment
This was just my huawey P20 phone. My images are usually just sketches to be developed as etchings, so the phone is more than enough, I guess...Inspiration
I love having a walk in the nature early in the morning: it's so very quiet! Besides, I was reasoning about a series of drypoint intaglio about my area, and I was shooting quite freely, whenever an image or atmosphere caught my eye.Editing
