This caption may seem like like an antithesis but I think it describes this amazing sculpture perfectly. This work by Amish Kapoor titled ‘Dismemberment, Site 1’ is nestled in rolling hills above the Kaipara Harbour on Gibbs Farm. I couldn’t think of anything more unexpected to see out in the country and yet it somehow manages to fit in just perfectly like it was meant to be there. A definite favourite of mine.
