Although in recent times Uganda never had White Rhino's they are building a large reintroduction program at Ziwa to re-introduce them at least in QE national park. The Rhino's at Ziwa live wild but have 24-7 guards to ensure safety and health. Per tof the funding comes from tourism. And it is a profound experience to walk in the wild and stand "face to face" with these creatures!
