Behind The Lens

Location

This picture was taken in Volcano National Park in Hawaii

Time

We had been exploring the park all morning and came across this overlook around 11:20 am

Lighting

I didn't have any control over the lighting, but the clouds and sun worked in my favor.

Equipment

I used a Canon EOS Rebel T6i with a 18-135mm lens

Inspiration

My camera goes with me everywhere and I am always looking for interesting things to take photos of. The rusty posts around this trail caught my eye so I had to stop and get some shots.

Editing

In my camera bag

I love my Canon EOS Rebel T6i body and 18mm-135mm lens. This is a great combo for everyday use, especially at family gatherings. It is flexible and I can capture fun moments without any fuss. I usually have a 10mm-18mm lens and a 55mm-250mm lens as well for when I have more time to set up the shot. Recently I've been doing some experimenting with a variable ND filter that now lives in my bag.
