Behind The Lens

Location

I found this while hiking in Hawaii. I never go anywhere with out my camera and am always on the look out for a good shot.

Time

I took this in the afternoon while exploring the beautiful island of Hawaii.

Lighting

As with all of my shots I depend on the natural lighting in the area. I remember picking this flower from among the others on the bush due to the way the light accented it.

Equipment

This was shot on my Canon Rebel T6i with a Canon EF-S 18-135mm lens.

Inspiration

The lighting and contrast of these flowers against the other foliage caught my eye.

In my camera bag

I usually keep a few lenses in my bag, my favorites being my 18-135mm and 10-18mm lenses. I also like to keep some simple filters in my bag so that I can play a little.
