Location
This photo was taken at The Royal Albert Hall in London UK. I've been a fan of Gary Numan for 40 years. I dreamt many years ago he would play at this wonderful venue, it came true, obviously.Time
This is the best of all those I took inside. I wouldn't have a clue what time it was as an inside venue has no click to see. I only know it was getting dark as I entered The RAH and pouring with rain!Lighting
Most light shows Gary Numan does are his own ideas. One song in particular for the encore, his Number One hit Are 'Friends' Electric? , All lights come up flashing with the audience participation part. I never normally get this shot because I'm usually at the front. This time I was in a box seat and got this beautiful show of lightsEquipment
This was taken using a Cannon PowerShot SX30 IS. It's a bridge camera so it has only one lenses. Nothing else was used.Inspiration
Let's just call it an accidental shot!Editing
Absolutely nothing was done to this photo. It was stunning and anything would have ruined it.In my camera bag
It depends on the day or what I'm shooting. Normally it would be my canon, Samsung compact camera. But now I have 2 tripods, one lightweight and one heavyweight, a ring flash with filters and my newest camera, and Olympus E-330 and a couple of lenses.Feedback
Sometimes just waiting for the moment to arrive, is a waste of time. Sometimes the most accidental and unplanned are the ones that stand out.
