Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken two years ago at Fort Stellicoom Park in Tacoma WA while I was on a walk with my father

Time

It wasn’t too late in the day because I remember having to wake up earlier to reach the spot, so I’d say this was at about 4:30 pm

Lighting

When I took this photo I wanted to showcase the sky, the reflection on the lake, and the beautiful colors of the autumn leaves

Equipment

At the moment of this photo I used my IPhone 6s

Inspiration

When I saw how calm the lake was and how aggressive the sky looked I thought to myself, “I gotta shoot this”. I loved how simple yet complex this shot turned out.

Editing

Actually no I did not, I did my best to leave everything as close to the IRL experience

In my camera bag

I have three lenses that I carry now for my Canon 80D. I pack my canon 24-105mm f/4 L, my canon 50mm f/4, and my sigma 15-35 f/8

Feedback

Do your best to go right after a shower, when you get to a location that has trees and water underneath use the water to reflect the sky
