The Jandra is a replica of a paddleboat from the early 20th century. The original Jandra went up and down the Darling River collecting wool from properties around the region to bring back to Bourke. In its heyday, there would be plently of paddleboats coming in and out of the inland port that is Bourke. But road and rail transport soon took the place of paddleboats and now the replica of the Jandra shows tourists up and down the Darling River. … ABC Documentary
