This was taken at a photographic studio that can be hired in the centre of Glasgow about 15-20 mins walk from Glasgow central train station.Time
I can not honestly remember the time of day it was taken, However that should not matter as it was inside a photographic studio and i was using studio lights for the image.Lighting
Not much to say about the lighting it was as i remember 3x soft boxes and a plain white back dropEquipment
as i said cant remember the lighting set up so names are i'm not sure it may have been broncolor as it was a professional studio that was hired out. Hand held using a canon 30d digital slr camera with a canon 50mm (nifty fifty/ plastic fantastic)Inspiration
It was not my inspiration i will state this right away. The shoot was for a load of student make up artists and they has the ideas and inspiration for most of the looks and make up. This one was red lipstick then little plastic red hearts on top with a lip gloss over that.Editing

At the time i took this it was the canon 30d digital camera, and a few lenses many of which i have since upgraded. Now i have a canon eos 7d mkii and lens wise i can go from Tokina 11-16mm wide angle right up to my sigma 150-600mm telephoto zoom with many lenses in between for different styles of photography such as my main summer love of macro.Feedback
My main advice is simple at the time i was a student doing a photographer course, So don't be shy and if there is a make up course go speak to them explain if they need photos done then you can help them out and if you need models they or friends they would use will normally be very happy to help out. It does not need to cost either you or them anything for a shoot as both need images to prove that you and them are improving. So best advice speak to others in the creative industry and see if you can be of mutual benefit to each others work.
