Location
This is taken in Nashville, Indiana. This small 'village' is nothing like its name sake in Tennessee. Brown county Indiana is known for being home to many artists, and Nashville grew up featuring paintings and other artwork in it's many shops. Over time, the shops have expanded, and people come to visit the Brown county state park (known for it's beautiful fall colors), then spend part of the day shopping and eating in the town of Nashville.Time
Obviously this is i n the evening. Shops in Nashville all close around 7 PM, especially in the winter. We were wandering the streets after dinner and I took the opportunity to capture this shot.Lighting
I did almost no post processing of this image. I loved the 'after hours' lights of the shops and tried to use them to good effect.Equipment
Nikon D3400, kit lens (18 to 55 mm), 1/125 sec at f/3.5Inspiration
I try to carry my camera with me everywhere and I am always looking at light. this picture presented itself to meEditing
No.In my camera bag
My pride and joy is my Tamron 70 to 200 mm f/2.8. But for this shot I was carrying my kit lens.Feedback
Learn to always look at light and shadows. It is cliché but so helpful. As an amateur I am still learning to see light and shadows and find the best shot.
