This is another picture from my Japan trip in December of 2006. We were in Kyoto when we spotted some Maiko (apprentice Geiko or more commonly know as Geisha). But these weren't just any Maiko, they were fake! How do we know? They were dressed in ceremonial dress. They wouldn't be dressed like that if they were just walking around. Apparently two girls went to a costume shop and got all dressed up so people would take their picture. It worked XD
