This abandoned cabin sit on a rock with the back edge looking straight down into Swift Creek, Red River Gorge, Kentucky. This cabin is called "The Sleepy Hollow Lodge" and was completed in 1939 as a hunting lodge and retreat. It changed hands several times over the years before being purchased by the forest service. The builder's name and date are inscribed on the foundation and the right rear corner of the cabin sits on a huge Boulder that juts up out at Swift Creek.
