The polar bears at Churchill are waiting for the sea ice to form.For now they wander around the tundra& some of the frozen fresh water ponds. The Bears are hungry, every now &then they might find a artic hare or some other snack. Make no mistake about it, they are hungry and waiting to get on the ice and hunt for a fatty seal. Sadly the warming climate has delayed the freeze up. The threat is real, the bears rely on seals for their continued existence. They may survive but they will not thrive.
