Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo from my front yard. It was the neighbors barn, which has been torn down.

Time

I got up in the morning and everything was covered in frost. I grabbed my camera and just started shooting random items.

Lighting

This was taken on a cold overcast day that had a ray of sun shining at the front of the barn.

Equipment

This was taken on my Nikon point and shoot camera.

Inspiration

I have always loved this old barn and I liked the effect of the frost on the tree behind it. Unfortunately, the neighbors have since tore down this barn.

Editing

The only post processing I did was curves and I darkened it a little then I increased the color saturation.

In my camera bag

I don't have a lot of equipment. I always have my Nikon point and shoot and my Canon SLR 2 with the kit lenses.

Feedback

I always try to capture multiple shots of anything I'm photographing. I have issues with camera shake, so I find if I take multiple shots, one of them usually turns out pretty good.
