Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken on a beach in Bandon, OR. The purple haze was due to the large wild fires inland.

Time

This was taken at Sunset.

Lighting

Everything that evening had a purple tinted to it. The smoke acted like a natural filter.

Equipment

I took this photo with sony a6000 hand held. No filters

Inspiration

It was an absolute stunning sunset.

Editing

I did do a lite touch up in post processing contrast and lifted the blacks a little.

In my camera bag

I usually have my sony a6000. Hopefully some day I can upgrade to the SonyA 7 III. Currently I have a wide angle, 50-200, 35 kit and some macro lens.

Feedback

My advice to take a shot like this would be " be there at the right time and practice".
