Don’t know what’s more remarkable, that this catch could be made or that you could catch it! Truly fantastic shot.

Wonderful capture! Not sure if it looks terrified about the height it is flying, the colour purple, or hitting the ground at speed. Wonderful light,.....

Thank you Shelly! It looks a bit scary because of the catch ;-). I love the reflection of the theeth in the purple disc. She looks high but it's not that high. She landed all safe ;-) Thanks again!!

this is awesome the eyes of the dog in anticipation of getting that frisbee, and the way the body is all tucked in..nice..

Location
I took this photo on a field with some tries in the background. This dog jumped very fast and high so I needed to find the best place were the mix of sky, trees and other color would macht really nice fore an amazing background.Time
I always shoot in the morning because I like the light the best. Also, the energy of the dog is in the morning always very happy and full of energy! ;-)Lighting
When I shoot action I like the light coming from the sides or shining on the dog. This way I can shoot with low ISO and I prefer to do so.Equipment
I used for this photo my Canon 5dmark4 with the 300mm 2.8LInspiration
I am a great fan of action! Usually you can find me shooting the fast sighthounds. I love them! They are so fast. When the surrounding are great, like the beach, they just love to go crazy! Sometimes I just like to shoot different action. Like the disc dogs!Editing
I shoot RAW always. So the photo always needs post processing. I use Photoshop only. It is the fastest and easiest way to work for me. I crop the image because I need the straighten it always! When I shoot action I don't want to worry about shooting it straight. But I do try to shoot the dog as big as possible so I have to crop as little as I can. I dodge and burn the colors and saturated then as well. Especially in the background so the total match in colors is optimized. I used vignetting as well. Of course sharpening is very important. I like to add some contrast to make it pop more.In my camera bag
I have my 300mm 2.8 always with me. It is very heavy but very sharp and the background very soft. I love this. I also like to use the Sigma Art 105. Not for sports but it is excellent for portraits. When the action is very fast and the dogs are moving in all kind of direction I like to use the 70-200 2.8. I carry my canon 5dmark4 and the Canon 1DX mark II because for me this are the best combination of professional camera's.Feedback
When you shoot action like this, or any action, try to look at the sport first before yo start shooting. This helps you understand the movements and action of the sport. When you understand this part of the action it will be much more easy to predict the way the dogs are going to run, jump of flip.
