This was taken at sunrise 5:40 or so I believe.Lighting
I was quite worried about the clouds as I was was driving over. It was very dark and overcast. Fortunately there was enough space to let sunlight through and give some contrast.Equipment

I love how the building looks and after some thought realized the sun should come up right behind it. I figured the gold some would look good at Golden hour and it did.Editing
Yes I did the standard adjustments brightness, contrast, etc. But this is also a splice of about 12 pictures. I zoomed in a took pics along the river and following the road and sky, then stacked those afterward.In my camera bag

Explore for new vantage points. This shot was taken from the bank of the river down hill from an office building. A spot most people would never think to go.
