Location
I took the photo at Cascada "Cola de Caballo" (Horsetail falls), Santiago, Nuevo Leon State, Mexico. This waterfall is in "Parque Nacional Cumbres de Monterrey" ("Mountains of Monterrey" National Park).Time
The day was Octuber 2, 2018. Hour was 10:42 AM, a cloudy day, which is better for slow photos.Lighting
It was a cloudy day, I chose this moment 3 days ago with all my equipmente ready.Equipment
My equipment was a Canon EOS Rebel T6 with 18-55mm lens, mounted in a pro tripod. I don't used flash. Exposition was 1/3 sec, WB was Cloudy, ISO 100.Inspiration
Just I arrived to the site, look for best views. There are 5 waterfalls in a small area. I wanted to have my own excellent photos of waterfalls in slow shots, because my technique had improved.Editing
No post.processing was performed, but I cuted a very small fragment to get a better composition. In my camera bag
I have 3 cameras: Canon EOS Rebel T6, with 18-55mm lens and 55-250mm lens; ND, polarized, and UV filters; diffuser for the integrated flash; 50mm lens. A Nikon P600. And a Fujifilm XP50, for underwater photos. I have 2 tripods, one big to general photos in the field and one small, table tripod, to "study" photos.Feedback
If you want great photos of waterfalls, you should walk arround of it looking for better views. Cloudy days are better, more if you have not ND filters. If this is the case, early morning or later at the day are better moments
