Pleasure beach in Bridgeport Connecticut. Access to the beach was cut off when the bridge connecting it to the mainland burned down. Once the peninsula had an amusement park, a dance hall and beach cottages. All are gone now and it has been allowed to return to it's natural state and is a bird and wildlife sanctuary. Assess is by foot or by a very recent addition of a ferry ride.
