There is a river to the right of this photo. I was in the park taking photos of the water. As I was walking along, the scene above appeared....the buiding, the trees, the small hill it sits on, the colors of the leaves. I stopped to take some shots.Editing

I currently use a Nikon D5100 with a variety of Nikon lenses. Previously I used a Canon EOS Rebel T5, which is not working , so am using the Nikon. Recently purchased a Nikon 3500 and have been working with that.Feedback
As frequently happens for me, I went out with something in mind to photograph, in this case the river, but something unexpected appears and I end up with a much more interesting photo than the one I intended to take. Be open to opportunities you may not have expected. Try new angles, as in this one, shooting from below. And as with this photo, if something catches your eye, take the photo.
