The boardwalk is a recent addition to Pleasure Beach in Bridgeport, Ct. Access to the beach was cut off once the bridge connecting it to the mainland burned down in the 1990s. Recent access is by ferry boat. At one time it had an amusement park and dance hall. Noe it has gone back to it's natural state.
