This photo is taken during our daily drives around the little island Dønna in northern Norway where we have our cabin.Time
We always take a drive around an hour before the sun goes down and untill its almost fully down. This is taken on our way home when the sheep decided to just stop in the road. I jumped out of the car and i was lying on the ground to get this perspective, even though its all about the timing!Lighting
As a wildlife and nature hobby photographer im just lucky with how the photos ends up. The chance of getting that photo you are out after aint that easy, at least not with the wild animals, because they do whatever they want whenever they want haha.Equipment
I used my Sony Alpha 58 with an 70-300mm Tamron lense.Inspiration
I love the nature and have always wanted a photo in front of this island with the wonderfull mountains on it! The Island in the backround is called Tomma, where i also have some family way back and where my great grandmother is from. And sheep in the foreground, the most common norwegian farm animalis just perfect!Editing
I did some slightly editing in VSCO actually! I didnt plan this to be the finished photo when i was done, because it was not what i had in mind. I wanted a more vivid background to show the sunset even more, but instead ended up with this more calming photo. In my camera bag
I normally just travle with my Sony A58 and Tamron 70-300mm lense.Feedback
I always get inspired when im here...the breath taking nature and the wildlife! On this little island its easy to get close to the wildlife without intimidate them. I take loads and loads of photos when im here, but mostly of the Roe Deers and Mose...if im espescially lucky even the eagle!
